Nominated by Influence Digest+ as one of the Ottawa’s Top Coaches for 2024.

Kristina commenced her career in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as a graduate of Royal Military College (RMC) and served as a Naval Logistician during her 24-year career. After completing her trade training, she sailed in various ships, and also was deployed in a six-month deployment to the Persian Gulf War. In her later military years, she served in the Command Maritime Staff in Ottawa and was engaged in strategic work focusing on L1 finance and business planning for the Navy. In 2009, she retired from the CAF and began her second career as a DND Public Servant in civilian business planning, talent management, and was the lead for civilian performance management.  This led her to her true passion of coaching.

Kristina’s desire to help people progress to their full potential is what enlightened her to become a coach. She now enjoys supporting leaders towards their goals as they navigate the complexities of an unpredictable and volatile world.

In 2017, Kristina graduated from the Royal Roads Graduate Certificate Program in Executive Coaching and in 2018 she returned to university and completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Change Management. She has since earned her accreditation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also an Integral Coach (PCM), holds certifications in Group Coaching and Systemic Team Coaching, and is an Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0® & EQ 360®) and Integrative Enneagram (iEQ9®) practitioner. She is currently continuing her education through a Master of Arts in Executive Organizations and Coaching and is also a student in the Senior Practitioner’s program for Systemic Team Coaching led by the world leader in team coaching, Dr. Peter Hawkins. For the last six years, Kristina has used her education and experience to coach individuals up to and including the Assistant Deputy Minister Level, and on the military side, up to the rank of Major General. She also piloted two senior team coaching programs with stellar results.

Kristina resides in Ottawa, enjoys swimming, hiking and yoga and is a huge dog-lover, particularly with her Bernadoodle – Luci!
